耶西的本（基督）將以公義審判──神的知識在千禧年間將充滿大地──主將豎立大旗，聚集以色列──比照以賽亞書第十一章。約主前五五九年至五四五年。1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.
1 從耶西的本必發一嫩枝，從他的根必生一枝條。2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
2 ａ主的靈必住在祂身上，就是智慧和聰明的靈，謀略和能力的靈，知識和敬畏主的靈。3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
3 必使祂聰明，迅於敬畏主。祂行審判不憑眼見，斷是非也不憑耳聞。4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
4 卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直為世上溫順的人判斷；以口中的杖擊打世界；以嘴裡的氣殺戮惡人。5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
5 公義必當祂的腰帶，信實必當祂腰間的帶子。6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
6 豺狼必與綿羊羔同居，豹子與山羊羔同臥；牛犢、幼獅、肥畜同群；小孩子要牽引他們。7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
7 母牛必與熊同食；牛犢必與小熊同臥；獅子必吃草，與牛一樣。8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’s den.
8 吃奶的孩子必在虺蛇的洞口玩耍，斷奶的嬰兒必把手放在毒蛇的穴上。9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
9 在我聖山的遍處，他們都不傷人，不毀物；因為主的知識要充滿遍地，好像水充滿海洋一般。10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.
10 到ａ那日，必有耶西的根立為人民的大旗，外邦人必尋求祂，祂安息之所大有榮耀。11 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
11 事情將是這樣，當那日，主必二次伸手救回自己人民中所餘剩的，就是在亞述、在埃及、在巴忒羅、在古實、在以攔、在示拿、在哈馬、在眾海島所剩下的。12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
12 祂必向列國豎立大旗，集合以色列被趕散的人，又從大地四方聚集分散的猶大人。13 The envy of Ephraim also shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
13 以法蓮的嫉妒也必消散，猶大的仇敵必被剪除；以法蓮必不嫉妒猶大，猶大也不擾害以法蓮。14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines towards the west; they shall spoil them of the east together; they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
14 他們要向西，飛撲在非利士人的肩頭上；他們要一同擄掠東方人；他們要伸手按住以東和摩押；亞捫的兒女也必順服他們。15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind he shall shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dry shod.
15 主必完全毀壞埃及海汊，用強風在河上揮手，擊打大河的七條溪流，令人過去不致濕腳。16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people which shall be left, from Assyria, like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
16 必有一條大道給祂存留的人民，就是從亞述剩下回來的，如當日以色列從埃及地上來一樣。
