這裏的 glories 是動詞，翻譯為「讚美」

1 ...I, Nephi, speak concerning the prophecies of which my father hath spoken...

which 前加 of，是配合句尾的 spoken。

2 ...there are not many greater.

如果用單數，可能會寫成  ...there is no greater.。

3-9 李海召集拉曼和雷米爾的孩子們講話

這是少數提到祖父教導孫子女的幾節經文，值得另闢文章闡述之。

5 ...I know that if ye are brought up in the way ye should go ye will not depart from it.

最後的 it 指的是 the way。

6 ...that the cursing may be taken from you and be answered upon the heads of your parents.

這裏的 be answered 翻譯為「報應」，英文用被動式，中文用主動式
